Explain Climate Change as a global environmental issue

Hello Friends Welcome to my Website 'theeconomicsstudy.in' and also thank you very much for come to my website. In today's post we are going to know 'Explain Climate Change or global warming as a global environmental issue' and also know the implications of climate change. So let's discuss this.

Explain Climate Change as a global environmental issue

What is Global warming?

One of the most serious environmental problem is the longer increase in the surface temperature.  Or sometimes the green house fact. The global warming is the result of green house effects created by green house such as Carbon dioxide, CFC, Nitros Oxide, Mithen and Ozone.

These gasses are realised into the atmosphere by different human activities. Sunlight warms the earth’s surface during day time and space. Certain gasses in the atmosphere absorb this radiant energy and re-emit the heat back to the heart.

What is Climate Change?

Climate change is another global environmental problem. The scientists proved that there is a very rapid change in the climate in the earth. Global warming and other environmental problems change the natural climate of the earth. Due to climate change sea, water bed rises melting of glaciers, etc.

The causes of global warming (Climate change Causes)

There some causes of global warming or climate change which are discussed below-

(i) Rapid industrialisation: Economic development of a country depends upon rapid industrialisation process. For this reason huge amount of non-renewable resources have been used. On the other hand industrial units emit green house gasses to the natural environment.

(ii) Urbanization: The rapid urbanization is one of the most important causes of the environmental degradation and global warming. The urbanization process generates food wastes, polythene carry bag, water pollution, sound pollution, air pollution, etc.

(iii) Deforestation: The global warming or the climate change is closely associated with rapid scale of deforestation due to urbanization, construction of infrastructure expansion of agriculture etc.

(iv) Agricultural Pollution: Due to over population demand for food rises. In order to increase production level the farmers are using different chemical fertilizers in the crop fields. The use of such harmful chemicals is responsible for ecological change.

(v) Automobile pollution: Many petroleum pre leak from oil refineries, oil tankers ships etc. Pollute the aquatic system, air of the earth. Automobile pollution is a responsible cause of green house gasses.

Consequences of global warming or climate change

(i) Higher sea level: Higher temperature on the earth causes sea water to expand with heat and glaciers to melt, raising the sea level year after year.

(ii) Impact on water resources and natural disasters: Global warming accelerates the removal and destroys the balance of water supply. As a result there are frequent flood in some areas where as some areas are suffering from drought.

(iii) Impact on agriculture: Global warming or climate change will seriously affect agricultural production. Some species of agricultural crops will be adversely affected by higher temperature. It is also possible that global warming will lead to global food crisis.

(iv) Impact on human health: Climate change or global warming affects human health. It is anticipated that climate change will lead to loss of many lives. Direct cause of death will include intensified heat waves and diseases climate change in responsible for the outbreak of different diseases such as malaria, Nipah , dengue.

(v) Impact on animals and plants: Global warming or climate change will cause animals and plants shaft their habit ace to northern areas. It is anticipated that some will become extinct if they can’t migrate due to climate change or global warming.

(vi) Impact on cities: The global warming changes the nature of the cities. It creates acute water crisis, air pollution and sound pollution.
